Stephen Fung joined SaratogaRIM in 2006. He is co-portfolio manager for the firm's equity strategies and has primary research, security selection and trading responsibilities for the aerospace & defense and IT services portions of the portfolios.

  • Founded Fung Capital Management LLC in 2000 and managed a private partnership for the firm until 2005

  • Senior analyst & manager of Asian telecommunications research at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Securities - Hong Kong

  • One of the two regional analysts on the Asia-Pacific equity research team at Salomon Brothers that was ranked number one by both Institutional Investor and Asiamoney for their coverage of the Asian telecommunications sector in both 1994 and 1995

    • Established Salomon Brothers' first convertible bond research venture in Asia

  • Financial analyst responsible for the worldwide forecast for Hewlett-Packard Company’s inkjet printer product line

  • Award-winning engineer in the space shuttle program at Rockwell International
